Porão 3.16 é um grupo de jovens cristãos. O desafio do projeto era criar um conceito para o nome e uma identidade visual.
Em sua definição, porão significa:
1. Parte de uma casa ou edifício entre o primeiro piso e o solo, onde se guardam coisas velhas ou sujas (carvão, lenha etc.).
Porão 3.16 é um grupo de jovens cristãos. O desafio do projeto era criar um conceito para o nome e uma identidade visual.
Em sua definição, porão significa:
1. Parte de uma casa ou edifício entre o primeiro piso e o solo, onde se guardam coisas velhas ou sujas (carvão, lenha etc.).
2. Parte de uma casa ou prédio abaixo do primeiro piso, grande o suficiente para ser habitada.
CASA FIRMADA NA ROCHA
47. Eu lhes mostrarei como é aquele que vem a mim, ouve as minhas palavras e as pratica.
48. Ele é como a pessoa que está construindo uma casa e que cava fundo e coloca os alicerces em rocha firme. Quando a água das enchentes sobe e bate contra essa casa, ela permanece firme, pois foi bem construída.
49. Mas quem ouve e não obedece é como a pessoa que constrói uma casa sobre o chão, sem alicerces. Quando a água bater nessa casa, ela cairá, deixando uma pilha de ruínas”.
A grande diferença entre a casa firmada sobre a areia e sobre a rocha é a profundidade. Para não se construir sobre a areia, tem que cavar mais fundo, até achar a rocha, o solo. Temos que ir mais fundo, como num porão.

Porão (basement) 3.16 is a christian youth group. The challenge for this project was to create a concept for their name and a visual identity.
By definition, porão means:
1. A part of a house or building between the first floor and the ground, where dirty and old things are kept (coal, log, etc.).
2. A part of a house or a building under the first floor, big enough to be habited.
HOUSE FOUNDED UPON A ROCK
47 Whosoever cometh to me, and heareth my sayings, and doeth them, I will shew you to whom he is like:
48 He is like a man which built an house, and digged deep, and laid the foundation on a rock: and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it: for it was founded upon a rock.
49 But he that heareth, and doeth not, is like a man that without a foundation built an house upon the earth; against which the stream did beat vehemently, and immediately it fell; and the ruin of that house was great.”
The greatest difference between a house founded upon the earth and upon the rock is the depth. In order to avoid building upon the earth, one needs to dig deeper, until one finds the rocks, the ground. WE NEED TO GO DEEPER, AS IN A BASEMENT.
